As has been our tradition for many years, we will begin our summer worship schedule after Memorial Day. Worship with us at 9:00 a.m. beginning June 2! Sunday School will return in the fall.

Since 1860, Mayfield Church has been located at the corner of Church and Aldrich Roads in Mayfield Township, north of Highway 64, 5 miles northwest of Sycamore, Illinois, and 8 miles north of DeKalb. Click here for a Google map.

Rev. Martha Brunell celebrates 35 years of ordained ministry

Rev. Martha Brunell joined us as pastor and teacher on May 1 and she marks her 35th year of ordained ministry on June 10. What a month! Welcome Martha and congratulations from your new Mayfield family.

Women's Fellowship

Women's Fellowship will meet June 13 at noon at the Thompson's home. The program will be "Getting to Know Martha." Men are always welcome to attend these gatherings. Please bring a luncheon dish to pass. For directions, to arrange a ride, or for more information, call the church at 815-895-5548.

Tour de Farms bicycle ride for MS, Sat. June 22

The 2013 Tour de Farms for MS will stop at the Carlson Farm on Saturday, June 22. You can volunteer to support the riders at Rest Stop 1 or make a donation to the event by visiting the Tour de Farms--DeKalb, Illinois, website.

Calling all canoeists!

We will be launching canoes on the Kishwaukee River on Sunday, June 23. Gather at the Roush Farm. Transport to the put-in spot will leave at 1:00 pm. Hot dogs and pot luck when the last canoe arrives back home, probably about 3 pm. All are welcome. Bring friends, but we need a count of paddlers in advance so we have enough canoes and life vests.
